24 May to 06 June: T.T. Motorcycle Festival.
Motor bike practicing and racing on the T.T. mountain course .Prices and offers for the Isle of Man are not valid for travel during TT fortnight. However, a limited amount of accommodation is available. Please call for availability and prices.

14 to 15 June: IOM Dog Obedience and Agility Club Open Show
We provide two days of competitive dog obedience and agility shows. All Kennel Club registered dogs are eligible to enter regardless of breed. The obedience classes are for all standards from beginners to Crufts standard. The agility classes are again for all standards and sizes of dogs. Spectators are welcome.

16 to 20 June: Crown Green Bowls Festival.
Over the years the Isle of Man Bowling Festival has grown from strength to strength and is now recognised as the best bowling festival and carries with it the highest prize money of any festival on the bowling calendar. The festival has over £16,500 in prize money and has a tremendous competitive atmosphere with over 400 participants competing.

21 to 23 June: Manx Model Boat Festival
The three day Scale Model Boating Festival covering “on the water” steering and tug towing competitions and static scale model judging. This includes an evening prize presentation for the competitors.

21 to 22 June: Parish Walk
The ultimate sporting challenge on the Isle of Man. An 85mile walk around all 17 parishes on the island to be completed within 24hours. The Parish walk is a competitive and challenging event with large media coverage.

23 to 27 June: Summer Walking Festival.
The Isle of Man has some of the most varied landscape, from: austere moorland, lush valleys, wooded glens, sandy beaches and rugged cliffs. Through experienced guides, you can discover this Island and find out intriguing information including our fascinating mix of Celtic and Viking heritage. On your visit you also have the opportunities to sample some of the Island's arts, folklore and cuisine! There is also a full social prgoramme of evening entertainment!

25 June to 9 July: Manx Model Meet
Gathering of model aircraft flyers for a club event on Jurby airfield. The event welcomes participants and spectators to compete and view the exciting aircraft competition.

07 July: Tynwald Day Manx National Day and public holiday.
National service and open air reading of the laws in Manx and English from Tynwald Hill. Fair continues throughout the day. Evening fireworks display starts at 10.45pm.

07 to 10 July: Southern 100 Motorcycle Races.
Short circuit motorcycle racing on the Billown Circuit, Castletown. Solos, sidecars and classic bikes.

12 July: Jurby South National Road Races
This is a National level event on the 4.25 mile Jurby South Road circuit. The motorcycle event provides an important successor to the Southern 100 races and a number of riders and spectators stay on for this event. The event attracts riders and machines of the highest quality. The races have a massed start and are restricted to the National Licence holders.

12 to 13 July: Ramsey Dog Training Club – Open Obedience Show
Ramsey Dog Training Club pride themselves on maintaining a friendly and relaxed atmosphere whilst upholding the competitive edge expected from any UK obedience show. There are classes to suit everyone from beginners to the very top.

19 to 20 July: Ramsey Dog Training Club – Open Agility Show
Ramsey Dog Training Club pride themselves on maintaining a friendly, relaxed atmosphere whilst upholding the competitive edge expected from any UK agility show. There are classes for everyone over the two days from the complete newcomer to the seasoned competitor.

21, 24, 26 July and 11, 14 August: Formula 2 Stockcar Manx Open F2 TT
The Stockcar racing is a contact motor sport where the more experienced drivers start at the rear of each race. They have a set number of laps to make their way to the front, using the front bumper to push their opponents aside. This event attracts large numbers to watch the dangerous, contact car racing around a circuit. Held on 400 meter tarmac oval. Visiting drivers from UK and Europe are invited.

26 July to 01 August: Mannin Angling Club Festival
The event consists of two shore and five boat fishing competitions. Boat competitions are classed in two categories: private and charter. Our conservation on the competitions is we catch, measure and release. (charter boats only)


10 August: Isle of Man Marathon & Half Marathon.
Full marathon and half marathon road races - on a quiet, scenic rural course starting and finishing in Ramsey. Medal, t-shirt and goody bag to all finishers. Free buffet lunch provided. Trophies awarded to first three in all age groups.

11 to 15 August: NBC Basketball Camp
The NBC Basketball Camp is a week long event providing basketball and life skills coaching for youngsters between the ages of 10 and 19. We encourage parents to attend parts of the camp throughout the week.

14 to 18 August: Adventure Week and Weekend Festival
Outdoor based festival incorporating 6th sea kayak symposium, with live music and evening entertainment during the festival weekend. Sea kayaking, coasteering, rock climbing, diving, sailing. Novice intermediate and advanced levels catered for fantastic social and guest instructors from all over the world!

16 to 29 August: Manx Grand Prix Motorbike racing on the mountain circuit.
Motorcycle Racing on the T.T. Mountain circuit. Evening practicing from 16th . Racing starts on Monday 25th .Prices and offers for the Isle of Man are not valid for travel during the Manx Grand Prix. 1 to 5 September: September Crown Green Bowls Festival

6 to 7 September: Isle of Man Dance Festival
The Dance Festival includes participants that perform the: Ballroom, Latin, Old Time etc. it’s for all grades and for all ages from 3 to over 60. The event attracts a large number and everybody enjoys competing and watching.

12 to 14 September: Isle of Man Bridge Congress
The congress is a duplicate bridge competition which forms part of the English Bridge Union’s calendar of events. Its small size makes it ideal for club players who are new to congress events.

14 September: End to End Mountain Bike Challenge

A mountain bike challenge from one end of a country to the other, taking in a variety of terrains and requiring different skills to complete the event. 75km in total, the riders require a certain level of fitness to complete the event and a high level of skill to compete for honours. The end to end attracts large amounts of cyclists every year who enjoy the scenery and the competition.


19 to 21 September: IOM International Jazz Festival
Isle of Man International Jazz Festival at the Hilton hotel Douglas. Friday September 19th – 21st 2008. Presented by the Manx Jazz Club. Featured are leading professional musicians and jazz bands. Two rooms in use each evening, traditional to main stream jazz. The festival is part of the culture and is a chance to enjoy and relax listening to some great artists.

19 to 27 September: IOM International Chess Tournament
The Chess Tournament is an event that attracts top chess players from all over the world.

26 September to 4 October: Isle of Man Festival of Pool - British Pool Open
The Isle of Man Festival of Pool/British Open Pool would see pool players of all ages, male or female and from all parts of the UK and Eire as well as players from France, Spain and other European countries attending the festival. The Pool Festival is a fantastic event with players with outstanding skills.

9 to 12 October: The October Walking Festival
The Isle of Man has some of the most varied landscape, from: austere moorland, lush valleys, wooded glens, sandy beaches and rugged cliffs. In the Autumn season, the land becomes a mixture of colours. Through experienced guides, you can discover this Island and find out intriguing information including our fascinating mix of Celtic and Viking heritage. On your visit you also have the opportunities to sample some of the Island’s arts, folklore and cuisine! There is also a full social programme of evening entertainment!

24 to 27 October: Isle of Woman Festival.

A whole weekend of fun, pampering and adventure to raise money for the Isle of Woman Charity.
